Hey there, friends! I’m Emily Abbey, a spirited 21-year-old exploring the vibrant streets of Toronto with my faithful companion, Moose, the cutest Chihuahua you’ll ever meet. As I head into my third year of creative industries studies, working toward my Bachelor of Arts, my days are a lively mix of exploring the city and sharing the boundless joy that Moose brings to every adventure.
I’m returning from an incredible year in Florida, where I worked as a Walt Disney cast member. My experience immersed me in the magic of storytelling, performance, and creativity, and it has given me a fresh perspective that I’m excited to bring into my studies and everyday life. My blog connects readers from over 20 countries, creating a space where we can share experiences, ideas, and inspiration from diverse perspectives.
Beyond the fun of city living and creative pursuits, I’ve also faced personal challenges, including navigating mental health struggles with resilience and determination. Through this blog, I hope to foster a supportive community where we can openly discuss life’s highs and lows, knowing that no one has to face their journey alone.
Join me as I embrace life, love, and personal growth, exploring the beauty in everyday moments, the excitement of new experiences, and the endless possibilities that come with creativity and self-discovery, no matter where in the world you are.
Our Story
In all the chapters of my life, the past few years has been a profound amount of growth, resilience, and unexpected twists. It all began with the bold decision to move to Florida to work at Walt Disney World, accompanied by my ever-loyal companion, Dug. He wasn't just a pet; he was my emotional support, my sidekick, and an integral part of my journey. However, fate had its own plans, and unfortunately, Dug crossed the rainbow bridge, leaving me to complete our Floridian adventure for the both of us. Returning to Canada, I settled back in to Toronto living and the routine of school. Little did I know, the best thing to ever happen to me would enter my life. Moose, a Chihuahua in terms of breed, yet with the heart the size of a moose, has profoundly reshaped the narrative of my everyday life. As I settle back into the rhythms of university and city living, Moose has become my biggest support, bringing with him a new perspective on love, companionship, and the beautiful unpredictability of life's journey. Join me as I reflect on the year that shaped me, from the sunny days in Florida to embracing life in Toronto with a new perspective, and the transformative paw prints that Dug and Moose have left on my heart.
